- I'm incredibly impatient.
- I hate noise.
- I'm very sentimental.
- I will cry at the slightest provocation.
- I usually root for the underdog.
- I love cartoons.
- One of my talents is voice recognition. Whenever there is a "famous person" doing a voice over for TV, radio, commercials, cartoons, etc., there is a 99.9% chance that I will be able to identify the voice immediately.
- Another useful talent is that I can tie a cherry stem in a knot with my tongue. Everyone needs a party trick.
- I find it hard to make friends.
- I believe this is because I am discriminating.
- I like to keep the friends I have.
- I still have friends that I made in the first grade.
- If you are my friend and you need help, I will drop whatever I am doing to help you.
- I am fiercely protective of the people I love.
- I wish I could draw and paint better than I can.
- I have more art supplies than my talent requires.
- My father is a minister.
- I don't remember a time in my life when I actually believed in god.
- I think my father is a wonderful minister because he has never tried to convince me to believe in god.
- I won't watch the news on television because it makes me angry, sad and anxious. I spend enough of my day like that naturally.
- I listen to the news on NPR every morning.
- The state of our country often worries me.
- I often wish I still lived in Canada.
- I care more than I should about what other people think of me.
- I spend a little part of every day feeling oddly dissatisfied with things, but I can't figure out how to make that feeling go away.
- I wish I had more time to read, knit and garden.
- I couldn't pick one book as my all time favorite if my life depended on it.
- I doubt I will live long enough to read all the books I want to, even though I average two books a week.
- I'm an only child (how did you guess?!?!).
- I love animals. Sometimes more than people.
- I'm afraid of dogs.
- I don't particularly like children.
- Until a few years ago, I always had horses in my life.
- The Kentucky Derby makes me cry.
- I share a birthday with Dylan Thomas and Sylvia Plath.
- I think I should like poetry more than I do. I feel strangely guilty about it.
- I hate it when black and white movies are colorized.
- There can simply never be too much cheese.
- I plan to have "There isn't enough cheese down here" inscribed on my gravestone.
- I love to cook and bake.
- My perfect meal would be fresh corn on the cob and tomatoes from the garden. I'd put butter and salt on the corn and salt and pepper on the tomatoes. The tomatoes should still be slightly warm from the sun. And homemade chicken & noodles like my Grandma Suzie used to make. Key lime pie for dessert. With fresh whipped cream. Ooh, and a raspberry sauce!
- I'm passionate about ice hockey. My favorite team is obviously the Boston Bruins.
- I say that is obvious because I have the Boston Bruins logo tattooed on my left hip. That would just be silly if they weren't my favorite team.
- Mike Milbury once rubbed my tattoo for luck. It worked. Unfortunately he was with another team at the time.
- I'm still waiting for the Bruins to find a player who can even remotely compare to Cam Neely, even though every year they say they have found "the next Cam Neely."
- I have moved six times in the last nine years.
- I will not be satisfied with where I live until I have a house of my own. Even then, who knows?
- I would like to go to cooking school.
- I would like to be self-employed.
- I often feel that I am smarter than 98% of the people I meet.
- If I could get someone to pay me for my opinion, I'd never complain about my job again.
- I'm a pathological procrastinator. I will even procrastinate over things I want to do.
- My mother has always said I'm secretive. She's absolutely right.
- I almost never knit a gauge swatch, and so far it hasn't been a problem.
- I have a whole big bunch of sock yarn. I am planning for my future, when I may be unavoidably unemployed. At least I'll have sock yarn.
- I don't know yet what I want to be when I grow up.
- I hate the telephone, and I rarely answer it. Want to talk to me? Email me, text me, whatever.
- I'm very sensitive to salt. If I have too much salt it makes me wake up in the middle of the night freaking out with anxiety, racing blood pressure, screaming nightmares and swollen joints.
- If I could live during any time and place in history, I'd like to be a song and dance girl during the late 1930's. Ziegfeld Girls, Busby Berekley, Fred Astaire, MGM Musicals...you get the idea.
- My dreams are like movies. They almost always have a soundtrack, and they're usually in color.
This is obviously a work in progress!!
